Solubility(g/100g solvent, 25): Ethanol 35.1, Acetone 39.0, Ethyl acetate 48.8, Benzene 1.5. Hard to dissolved in gasoline and insoluble in water. Colorless, non-polluting and easy decentralization.

. Scope of Application

As an antioxidant, antiager, polymerization inhibitor and light stabilizer, DTBHQ can be applied in the following materials and products.

Ø         Rubbers: Natural rubber (NR), Chloroprene rubber (CR), Acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber (NBR), Ethylene-propylene-diene copolymer (EPDM), cis-1,4-polybutadiene rubber (BP), Styrene butadiene rubber (SBR) etc..

Ø         Synthetic resins and plastics: Polyvinyl chloride (PVC), Polyethylene (PE), Polypropylene (PP), Polystyrene (PS), Polycarbonate (PC), ABS and cellulose resins etc..

Ø         It can be used in the coatings, paintings, adhesives, lubricants, engine oil, photosensitive materials etc..

Ø         It can also be used in latexes and medical components etc..

DTBHQ can be used in the same ways as the commonly used antioxidants, antiagers, polymerization inhibitors and light stabilizers with the normal dosage range:0.1%-2%(better effects if used together with phosphate ester).

. Storage

It shall be sealed and stored in a dark, cool and dry place away from fire source. With damp-proof and heat protection, it is forbidden to put it with the corrosive and toxic materials during transportation and storage.

. Package

  It is packed in paper drums lined with plastic bags, and the net weight per drum is 25kg.
