14-Butynediol is the major raw material of vitamin B6 as well as a brightening preserving agent and inhibitor for nickel plating
1,4-Butynediol(BYD) is mainly used to produce BDO and its downstream products, such as poly (butylene terephthalate)(PBT), polyurethane (adhesive and chain-extending agent), tetrahydrofuran, γ-butyrolactone, N-methyl pyrrolidone, polyvinyl pyrrolidone.

Transport:
Due to its chemical properties, this product must be hermetically stored in cool and dry places, and kept away from fire source and heat source. Deliquescence should be avoided. It should not be placed together with strong alkaline substances, and avoid contact with skin. During transportation, the product must be labeled the warning sign of fire and damp prevention. Product must be loaded or unloaded lightly to prevent damages to its packaging that will affect the product quality.
